California-based LittleFootprint Lighting has launched its high performance HeronLED personal task light for corporate and home office environments.

“The HeronLED gives buyers the first-ever opportunity to select truly sustainable task lighting for the office environment,” said Nancy Wahl-Scheurich, CEO of LittleFootprint Lighting.

“The HeronLED lamp is highly-efficient, made from recycled materials, is itself recyclable, and is designed and manufactured in the US. We’re excited to bring to market a high quality office product that supports a greener planet and the creation of green jobs.”

LED light source uses a fraction of the energy used by incandescent bulbs, besides offering more control in terms of adjusting for a direct comfortable “warm white” light where it’s needed.

It’s made from recycled plastic and steel, which translates to easy recycling. It also reduces landfill, and decreases the carbon footprint.

The Right Brush

“As I was repairing it I discovered that a right-angled position was comfortable and worked better. That was my Eureka moment. In development, I wanted it to look sculptural, and use the extraordinary sensitivity to touch Nature has given us,” he added.

The design designed for use with either hand, claims benefits such as enabling painters to work longer, with better control and less fatigue. Good for walls, trim, cut in, detail work, window frames, and hard to reach areas such as shelving or cabinets.

The 2.5-inch angle cut professional grade poly-nylon bristles are suitable for all paints. Handle is molded white polypropylene for easy cleaning.
